TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide present in nearly every mammalian cell type and found at high concentration in platelets and other circulating cells. The fragment supplied as TB-500 corresponds to the actin-binding region of the parent molecule, the LKKTETQ motif, which is the part of thymosin beta-4 responsible for sequestering monomeric G-actin.
TB-500 is studied in preclinical research on actin sequestration and polymerisation, cell migration, angiogenesis models and tissue-repair pathways. Because it is a short fragment rather than the full 43-amino-acid protein, it is simpler to synthesise and characterise, and it lets researchers isolate the actin-binding function from the rest of the molecule. Thymosin beta-4 and BPC-157 are examined for complementary mechanisms, so the two peptides are often used side by side in research, and myPEPT also offers them as a combined blend.
To work out the concentration that a chosen volume of bacteriostatic water produces from a 10 mg vial, use the peptide reconstitution calculator.
TB-500 ships within Europe, including Ireland, and every parcel is tracked. Customers in Ireland can pay by card, PayPal, Klarna or SEPA transfer; other European countries see their local payment options at checkout. Our support team answers questions about batches, certificates and order status before and after purchase.
TB-500 is sold strictly for laboratory research use only and is not for human consumption. myPEPT makes no medical claims and does not give legal advice; buyers confirm at checkout that they are purchasing for research purposes and are responsible for compliance with the rules that apply to them.
